POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Operator, Manufacturing is required to perform many functions within the center, including, but not limited to, operating a wide variety of equipment, moving boxes and equipment, operating computers and computerized equipment, writing and filling out forms, sorting and collating papers, following instructions from supervisors, and communicating effectively with other team members in both Digital and Signs & Graphics environment.
The Production Operator, Manufacturing predominantly takes part in the production of S&G print/finish orders according to customer specifications (order details). This team member also maintains the Digital production area and equipment.

Employees accrue paid sick time at a rate of one hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 72 hours, unless a higher amount is otherwise required by law.
Vacation accrues based on position, hours worked, and years of service unless otherwise required by law. For part-time employees, start accruing after 1 year of service at a rate of 3.34 hours for every 173 hours worked. For full-time employees, start accruing vacation time immediately based on hours worked to accrue approximately one or two weeks of paid vacation in the first year (based on position) and work your way up to more paid vacation time with tenure.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process and produce Digital and Signs & Graphics print/finish orders as requested and/or directed
Operate Digital and Signs & Graphics printers, binding and other auxiliary equipment
Perform all phases of equipment set-up, operation and routine maintenance
Maintain equipment and supplies, to include cleaning and repairing
Provide customer service, including problem solving, to satisfy those needs with a minimum amount of supervision
Produce work in accordance with LEAN manufacturing principles to enable Done Right On Time quality results
Follow instructions of supervisors and assist other team members in performing center functions
