Data Analyst, IT Business Analyst
B2B Industrial Packaging offers a full range of packaging equipment and supplies including steel strapping, stretch film, and fasteners throughout the United States and Mexico. An experienced and highly trained B2B Packaging team also operates three state-of-the‑art strapping and fastener tool repair facilities that service the entire U.S.
As the Technology Analyst Manager, you will lead, mentor and develop a team of technology/business analysts while overseeing collection and interpretation of business and system requirements.
Role and Responsibilities- Manage the implementation and optimization of software applications, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
- Write and assist in writing user stories, test cases, and training materials.
- Participate and/or lead morning standup sessions and p erform training or assist in training as needed
- Take ownership of the Azure Dev Ops work management system.
- Lead and own small to medium size technology projects from ideation through completion with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and other departments to understand needs and deliver technology-driven solutions.
- Evaluate existing systems and workflows, making recommendations for upgrades or process improvements.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective technology support and solutions.
- Ensure accurate and timely development of reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Oversee testing, quality assurance, and documentation of system changes and upgrades.
- Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and project updates to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and data security regulations.
- Assist with technology budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 5+ years of technology or systems analysis experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, system implementation, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Experience in a distribution environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of SQL with the ability to read and interpret simple and medium queries in complexity.
- Experience with database management, reporting, and analytics tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant business intelligence/reporting software.
- Knowledge of data security, compliance, and IT governance best practices.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to travel to company locations, vendors, or industry events as needed.
