We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Business Development Manager to support the Americanization efforts of PACRAFT in North America. The candidate will be responsible for personnel staffing, product development, and general marketing duties including trade shows and advertising. The candidate must be capable and motivated to achieve a senior level leadership role within 24 months.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, and train new staff members.
- Work with senior management to develop a unique, Americanized corporate culture
- Manage team performance and development.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with the senior management to develop new products tailored for North America.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences versus competitors.
- Design, implement, and manage strategic business plans and budgets.
- Actively participate in industry trade shows and forums as company spokesperson.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including trade shows, social media, and advertising.
- Coordinate messaging and content for various media channels with Advertising Agency.
- Analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Previous experience working with a multinational company, preferably Japanese or Asian.
- Bachelor’s degree in business & marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in business development, sales management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of packaging machinery and relevant markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience with Sales Force or equivalent CRM program implementation
- Proven track record in sale/marketing, personnel management and product development.
- Hands-on experience with marketing strategies and trade show planning.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM and other software specific to the desired process.
- Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally, passport required.
