Position: Administrator (Nursing Home)

Description:

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for ensuring exceptional care for seniors? We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Home Administrator to lead the operations of our esteemed nursing home facility in Chicago. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility to ensure compliance with regulations, high-quality care delivery, and a supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the overall operation of the nursing home facility, including administrative, financial, clinical, and personnel management.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing nursing home operations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote resident safety, health, and well-being.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members, including nurses, caregivers, administrative personnel, and support staff.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, families, and community resources to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, families, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Illinois.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or long-term care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing nursing home operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving and maintaining high-quality care standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
