Description: Community Consolidated School District 89 is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for our Middle School Math Teacher at Glen Crest Middle School, in Glen Ellyn to begin approximately April 24, 2026 and extend through the end of the school year.

Job Summary: This teacher will provide Social Studies educational services at Glen Crest Middle School during the teacher's medical leave. Planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of all students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning while employing effective instructional techniques for all students.

Qualifications: All applicants for this position are required to meet Illinois State Board of Education certification. Other requirements include but may not be limited to: PEL, Secondary Education (6-12), Social Studies endorsement or comparable.

Salary: $180 a day for a Teacher

• After 25 days of subbing $15 gift card, Thank YOU Certificate
• After 50 days of subbing $100 bonus
• After 75 days of subbing another $100 bonus
• After 100 days of subbing another $100 bonus
• Periodic trainings and "Thank YOU events"
