Position: Adjunct Faculty, Radiography - DMIR - SP26

Overview

Adjunct Faculty, Radiography — College of DuPage. College of DuPage believes in the power of teaching and learning. We seek adjunct faculty members to teach Radiography. COD faculty are committed to facilitate and support student success in learning and to meet the individual educational needs of a multicultural campus. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. Adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications
  • Education
    :
    Minimum of an associate's degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience
    :
    Experience working with Radiography students in the clinical setting required. Preferred experience as a lecture or lab instructor or clinical instructor for a JRCERT-accredited program. Knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising. Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in Radiography required.
  • Licenses and Certifications
    :
    Certification in Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).

Additionally, the ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching is preferred. Access to a personal technology setup (home computer with capability to teach online) is required. These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre-employment background check at the College’s expense is required.
