Adjunct Faculty, Continuing Education - Social Ballroom Dance

Overview

College of DuPage seeks Adjunct Faculty members to teach Social Ballroom Dance in Continuing Education. Courses are non-credit, focused on personal growth and development, and may be offered in various delivery modes.

• Plan and deliver courses in classroom, lab, or other instructional settings.
• Teach in-person and, where possible, online, hybrid, or blended formats.
• Evaluate student progress and complete required instructional documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support student success in a multicultural environment and adapt to diverse learning needs.

• Minimum two years of experience teaching adults is preferred.
• Ability to teach in-person at the Glen Ellyn campus; ability to teach remotely with technology is preferred.
• Access to personal technology and a home computer suitable for online instruction.
• Courses are non-credit; instructors may teach social dances including waltz, salsa, swing, and more. Some courses meet weekly for three hours in weekday evenings or Saturday mornings.

• Positions are paid by stipends for course assignments.
