College of DuPage seeks adjunct faculty members to teach Associate Degree Nursing. Candidates will teach in a multicultural environment and work with students of diverse learning abilities. Opportunities may include flexible schedules that can involve days, evenings, and weekends.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdjunct Faculty instructors are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, including face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats. They are also responsible for student evaluation and for timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of two years of full‑time work as a registered nurse
- Preferred:
Experience teaching in a clinical setting - Must be a licensed registered nurse in Illinois
Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching are preferred. Access to a personal computer capable of facilitating online instruction is required.
These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments. A pre‑employment background check at the College’s expense is required.
