Full Time Faculty - Electronics and Electro-mechanical Technology (Tenure Track, Fall 2026)

College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, preparing students for lifelong learning and connecting them to higher‑education partners.

Overview

We offer nine associate degrees and a broad spectrum of professional and technical certificates on a 273‑acre campus, aspiring to promote equity, inclusion, and student success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Teach Electronics and Electro‑mechanical Technology courses beginning August 2026.
  • Develop curriculum, assess student learning, and advise students.
  • Conduct professional inquiry, serve on committees, and integrate instructional technology.
  • Assignments may include face‑to‑face, online, hybrid, or blended formats during days, evenings, and weekends; positions may not be fully remote.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electro‑mechanical Technology and/or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of field experience.
  • Teaching experience in higher education (preferred); an education degree is preferred.
  • Expertise in Circuit Analysis, Programmable Logic Controllers, Industrial Control Panels, and Variable Frequency Drives.
