On site diesel cooling systems technician​/Power Generation

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician at Chesapeake Cooling Solutions LLC located in Glen Burnie, MD. The Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the maintenance and repair of cooling systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing support for installation projects. This position involves disassembling, cleaning, assembling, and testing engine cooling system components.

• Experience with the service and application of radiators, condensers, oil coolers, inter-coolers, heat exchangers, welding fabrication, aftertreatment systems and cooling systems (marine, agricultural, off/on highway, rail/industrial engines, critical power) preferred but not required.
• Technical knowledge in identifying mechanical components in cooling systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair technical issues efficiently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
• Forklift certification and DOT medical card is a plus.
• Ability to measure and accurately document work performed and parts used.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self‑starter and motivated to be successful in a team environment.
• This job involves a significant amount of physical activity, requiring good leg and back strength to sustain standing and bending postures for extended periods of time.
