Parts Specialist

• Purchase parts from manufacturers and suppliers; acquire parts from other branches as needed to maintain and replenish inventory.
• Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed.
• Advise Management on parts activities, future trends and matters that affect the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations.
• Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• 2+ years of retail exposure.
• Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
