The Director of Construction Management will provide project leadership for all capital construction and renovations of affordable and market‑rate housing, mixed‑use facilities, and corporate offices. The Director will oversee a team of Project Coordinators and consultants to manage all design and construction activities on time and on budget. The Director of Construction Management will work in partnership across the divisions of Fello Communities.

This position is a member of the Fello Communities Senior Leadership Team and the enterprise‑wide Expanded Executive Leadership Team and Leadership Council. This position is deemed essential during weather emergencies.

• Lead all capital construction and renovation projects for affordable and market‑rate housing, mixed‑use facilities, and corporate offices.
• Oversee Project Coordinators and external consultants to ensure design and construction activities are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Fello Communities.
• Serve as a member of the Senior Leadership Team and Expanded Executive Leadership Team.
• Act as an essential role during weather‑related emergencies.

• Experience managing general contractors, architects, civil engineers, and other contractor groups.
• Strong project management and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required; experience with Procore, AutoCAD, and property‑management software preferred.
• Exceptional critical and strategic thinking; ability to work autonomously in ambiguous situations.
• Ability to remain flexible and calm under pressure in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma and five years of project/construction management experience; bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
