Overview
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist role at August Rose Health Center
. This position involves providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults through individual and group counseling sessions, in a licensed clinical setting.
Job Title: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist
Job Location: In-Person, onsite Tuesday & Wednesday
Working Hours: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Job Type: Contractor
Responsibilities- Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to each clients needs, fostering a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
- Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions, encouraging clients to connect and support each other on their mental health journey.
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to identify presenting issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a wide range of mental health concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to ethical and legal standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest advancements in the field.
- Valid and current Maryland state license as an LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C.
- Proven experience providing individual and group counseling to diverse populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish a therapeutic alliance and collaborate with colleagues.
- Passion for making a positive impact on clients mental well-being.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team, contributing to a positive clinic culture.
- Cultural sensitivity and an inclusive approach to therapy to meet diverse client needs.
- Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and legal regulations related to mental health counseling.
