Position Overview

The Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive, trauma-informed outpatient behavioral health services through a blend of individual counseling, family therapy, and group-based psychotherapy. This role supports clients with a wide range of presentations including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma/PTSD, ADHD, chronic stress, family/interpersonal conflict, and co-occurring conditions.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly preferred due to the growing demand for bilingual services and culturally responsive care. New graduates and newly licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based and culturally sensitive modalities
  • Perform initial biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations
  • Collaborate with psychiatric providers, case management, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain timely documentation consistent with state regulations and clinic standards
  • Participate in case consultation and clinical supervision (as required by licensure status)
  • Provide psychoeducation, skills-based interventions, and coordination with external providers as needed
  • Support referrals, continuity of care, and warm hand-offs within the practice
  • Engage in clinic initiatives related to quality, retention, outreach, and programming
Preferred Qualifications
  • Spanish fluency (preferred, not required)
  • Experience or interest in:
    Trauma-informed care, Family systems therapy, Group therapy facilitation, CBT, DBT, EMDR, IFS, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and/or psychodynamic approaches
  • Strong risk assessment, safety planning, and documentation skills
  • Passion for providing accessible, culturally informed behavioral health services
Licensure
  • LCPC
  • LCSW‑C
  • LMFT
  • Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD)
  • LMSW / LGPC / LGMFT (with supervision support)

New providers and recently licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000 – $95,000 annually. Compensation is based on licensure, experience, productivity, and credentialing status.
