Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our team in Glen Burnie. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop professional skills while gaining hands-on experience in corrosion science to help preserve critical infrastructure for our clients. The selected candidate will work closely with field technicians to collect, analyze, and report on various data types. Strong communication skills are essential for delivering results and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Create design drawings and reports using CAD and GIS software.
• Assist field technicians with data collection during site investigations.
• Conduct laboratory testing on physical infrastructure, soil, and water samples.
• Maintain a regular presence at the Glen Burnie, MD office.

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (EIT certification strongly preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
• Experience in data analysis and presentation, including working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory or similar technical environment.
• Technical writing skills for professional reports and design documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS software for design and mapping applications.
