Qualifications:Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. (EDT) is seeking an entry-level engineer to join our team in Glen Burnie. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop professional skills while gaining hands-on experience in corrosion science to help preserve critical infrastructure for our clients. The selected candidate will work closely with field technicians to collect, analyze, and report on various data types. - Create design drawings and reports using CAD and GIS software.
- Assist field technicians with data collection during site investigations.
- Conduct laboratory testing on physical infrastructure, soil, and water samples.
- Maintain a regular presence at the Glen Burnie, MD office.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (EIT certification strongly preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Experience in data analysis and presentation, including working with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory or similar technical environment.
- Technical writing skills for professional reports and design documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS software for design and mapping applications.
