Customer Service Associate

Base Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with team members; model interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.
• Process purchases, collect cash, handle voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; inventory and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays (promotional, seasonal, super structures, sale merchandise); complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items and product placement per policies; manage stock rotation using FIFO method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport photo, poster print, creative machine), suggestively sell promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, deliver orders to customers).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store condition.
• Comply with company policies, maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by Manager or corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in English.
