Overview
The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking to add a part-time team member to our Human Resources Department. This person will manage special projects and administrative tasks related to People and Operations for our Association. We are looking for a candidate that is available to work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends. This part time position starts at $20.00 per hour, and up to 25 hours a week.
Responsibilities- Support Directors with onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire and volunteer documentation, background checks, payroll set-up and direct deposit enrollment.
- Ability to reform clerical and administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, inventory management and distribution of staff materials.
- The successful candidate must have a high school degree or its equivalent;
Bachelor s degree preferred. - Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive).
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Detail-Oriented with strong follow through and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and prospective candidates.
- Preferred experience with HRIS and workforce management systems (UKG preferred).
