The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout the hotel. This role includes cleaning assigned guest rooms, replenishing supplies, vacuuming, cleaning windows, and ensuring all areas meet Marriott brand standards. You will also be responsible for keeping your housekeeping cart stocked and orderly, completing daily assignment sheets, and reporting any maintenance needs to the supervisor.

This industry operates 24/7, and regular, dependable attendance is essential for success in this role.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of hospitality or housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous guest or customer service training a plus

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift/transport up to 50 lbs and push/pull carts up to 200 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, reach overhead, and move throughout work areas for up to 8 hours
• Must be able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Ability to work in guest rooms, corridors, housekeeping offices, and areas with variable temperatures, noise, odors, dust, and cleaning chemicals
• Ability to interact professionally with guests, coworkers, and management

• Complete daily reports and documentation as instructed by the supervisor.
• Enter and prepare guest rooms for cleaning according to hotel procedures.
• Clean guest bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and floor corridors to hotel standards.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and all surfaces in guest rooms.
• Replenish guestroom and bathroom amenities and supplies.
• Thoroughly clean bathrooms, removing soil, dirt, soap buildup, and hair from mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets, shower walls, bathtubs, shower curtains, and floors.
• Vacuum carpets and clean flooring surfaces.
• Make beds daily with clean linens and ensure proper bed presentation.
• Maintain housekeeping carts in a clean, organized, and fully stocked condition.
• Stock linen rooms with supplies, linens, and amenities as needed.

Salary: $16.00 per hour
