BHE GT&S has an exciting summer internship opportunity for an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business student within our Treasury Department at our Headquarters in Glen Allen, VA.

We are seeking highly motivated Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business students who are interested in a rotational internship opportunity within the finance and accounting teams at BHE GT&S. Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Daily cash management, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, credit/hedging activities, debt management activities, variance analysis, journal entries, audits, financial reporting, financial modeling, etc.
• Longer term projects to create real value for the finance/accounting departments and company as a whole.
• Desire to learn and produce as part of a safety conscious workplace.
• Independent source of transportation for this summer 2026 internship due to limited public transportation options in the area.
• Minimum of 8 weeks on site (June 1 - July 24), with possibility to extend up to 11 weeks depending on schedule and business needs.
• Eligibility for a one-time housing stipend for candidates 50 miles or more from the assigned work location.

• Must be a rising junior as of summer 2026.
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Bachelor's degree program.
• Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher (3.0 preference).
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to create and work with Word/Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment or independently.
• Good planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communications and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑motivated and have a strong work ethic.
• Must currently hold a valid driver’s license.
• Commit to a team‑centric work environment based on mutual respect and integrity.

Currently enrolled in a 4-year Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Bachelor's degree program. Candidate must be a rising junior as of summer 2026. Must have a 2.5 GPA or higher (Preference 3.0 GPA or higher).
