Reconciliation and Data Validation Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Reconciliation and Data Validation Specialist to join their team. As a Reconciliation and Data Validation Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Collateral Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a process-driven mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Reconciliation and Data Validation Specialist

Location: Glen Allen, VA

What's the Job?

• Reconciling large volumes of incoming paid-in-full collateral files using Excel to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Validating that requested data aligns with received documentation and resolving discrepancies
• Addressing backlog issues related to inconsistencies and control gaps in collateral file processing
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout reconciliation and validation processes
• Collaborating with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements

What's Needed?

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data entry, and validation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets
• Process-driven mindset with the ability to follow structured workflows
• Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving data inconsistencies
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes
