About

the Role

The Scheduling Specialist is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and optimizing the deployment of field research associates to meet customer needs efficiently. This role ensures that projects are properly assigned and executed on time, while balancing workload, travel time, and skill requirements.

What You’ll Do
  • Schedule Coordination:
    Develop, maintain, and adjust daily or weekly schedules for personnel based on operational priorities and resource availability.
  • Planning Support:
    Work closely with managers and team leads to forecast workload, allocate resources, and plan upcoming activities.
  • Data Management:
    Analyze reporting data to determine optimal assignment of employee resources to client field projects.
  • Communication:
    Serve as a liaison between departments to communicate schedule changes, conflicts, and status updates in a timely manner.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track progress against schedules and deadlines, identifying delays or resource shortages and recommending corrective actions.
  • Documentation:
    Maintain records of schedules, timelines, and resource allocations for reporting and analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Contribute to process improvements that enhance scheduling efficiency and team productivity.
  • All other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred (Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field).
  • 1-2 years relevant job experience and/or equivalent training
  • Good work ethic and eagerness to contribute to a fast growing business
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, adapts to change, and is a successful multi-tasker
  • Experience utilizing dashboard-based tools and database systems preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel.
