Shift Lead Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest level of guest service.
- Establish daily accountability for registers, verifying proper funding and close out to account for all funds.
- Adhere to Bareburger operating standards.
- Monitor and supervise staff scheduling, addressing unforeseen challenges to maintain adequate staffing.
- Maintain a clean workplace, stocking supplies and keeping restrooms and public spaces clean.
- Address customer concerns related to products, services, or employee interactions, seeking resolution while following company policy and standards of behavior.
- Approve customer discounts, returns, and exchanges while ensuring customer satisfaction and positive interaction with the company.
- Train new employees on company policy and procedures, from personal appearance to handling negative customer experiences.
- 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience.
- Exceptional guest service skills and a polite, enthusiastic, high-energy, respectful, and hospitable demeanor.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop future leaders.
- Previous restaurant or retail management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, Microsoft Office, and third-party delivery platforms.
- Quality focus and the ability to always smile.
