The State of Connecticut, Department of Developmental Services (DDS) – South Region – is currently accepting applications for six (6) full-time Supervising Developmental Services Worker 1 positions.

In the role of Supervising Developmental Services Worker 1, you will coordinate and oversee a residential living program by supervising staff, assigning work, and evaluating performance. You will assist in developing and implementing policies, programs, and operational procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations and the needs of individuals served. Responsibilities also include ensuring safety through fire drills and inspections, coordinating supportive services such as housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, laundry, and transportation, and securing and distributing necessary supplies and equipment.

Additionally, you will monitor individual fund spending, support unit responses to surveys and inspections, provide guidance on daily operations and special programs, and perform other related duties as assigned. Position Highlights: PCN 99887
