We're looking for an Assistant Engineer for Highway or Traffic Engineering to join our growing Transportation Division in Glastonbury, CT. - Working with a team of professionals in developing designs for public transportation projects
- Creating and updating specifications and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal Projects
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
- EIT preferred.
- 0-4 years of Civil Infrastructure Design and/or construction administration experience.
- Project experience with State DOT's preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred.
- Working knowledge of Synchro and Sim Traffic, HCS, SIDRA, or VISSIM a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
- Competitive salary with a pay range of $34 - $47 per hour commensurate with experience and location
- Competitive base salary with performance-based incentive payment plan/bonus structure.
