We're looking for an Assistant Engineer for Highway or Traffic Engineering to join our growing Transportation Division in Glastonbury, CT. Key Responsibilities

• Working with a team of professionals in developing designs for public transportation projects
• Creating and updating specifications and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal Projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• EIT preferred.
• 0-4 years of Civil Infrastructure Design and/or construction administration experience.
• Project experience with State DOT's preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Bentley Open Roads Designer preferred.
• Working knowledge of Synchro and Sim Traffic, HCS, SIDRA, or VISSIM a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
