Senior Lead Environmental Scientist – Connecticut Operations
WSP is searching for a full‑time Senior Lead Environmental Scientist to support our Connecticut operations in Glastonbury and Shelton, CT. Join our Earth and Environment Team to deliver client solutions.
Your Impact- Prepare environmental work plans and manage projects through completion on time and within budget.
- Manage existing clients and develop new business.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff.
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation to determine next course of action.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in geology, hydrogeology, or environmental engineering.
- CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional.
- Minimum 10 years experience as a Connecticut environmental consultant with strong understanding of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA, and TSCA.
- Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Professional licensure/certification.
- 40‑Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) preferred.
- Experience in water supply development and permitting is a plus.
- Proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS software is a plus.
