Senior Project Engineer – Solid Waste (Glastonbury, CT)

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Engineer or Managing Engineer for a full-time Solid Waste position in our Glastonbury, CT. Duties primarily include engineering related to general civil and environmental engineering, as well as solid waste management facilities and systems.

• CT DEEP Solid Waste Permitting & Compliance services, stormwater compliance, miscellaneous discharge compliance, local permitting and compliance, and municipal stormwater systems permit compliance.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, feasibility studies, environmental studies and solid waste management plans.
• Specific assignments may include developing site layout and grading plans, stormwater conveyance and storage facilities, erosion control design, site utility design, on‑site roadways, and ancillary buildings and structures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• 8‑15 years of experience in the consulting industry a plus, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in CT or the ability to obtain reciprocity is desired.
• Experience with the design and layout of site plans, grading plans, pipelines, storm water systems and other related civil/site work is a plus.
• Construction observation and contract administration experience and a willingness to work on seasonal field assignments is a plus.

Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000/year.
