Position Summary The Customer Service Specialist serves as a key point of contact for customers within Habco, supporting rotary-wing, fixed-wing, and service platforms. This role is responsible for managing customer communications, preparing quotes, processing sales orders, and proactively supporting customer opportunities while ensuring high levels of service, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned non-key accounts.
- Provide timely, professional communication to customers regarding quotes, orders, and inquiries.
- Prepare and deliver customer quotes across all supported platforms (rotary, fixed wing, and service).
- Enter and manage sales orders accurately within company systems.
- Actively pursue customer opportunities and support sales initiatives.
- Cross-trained across all platforms to provide comprehensive customer support.
- Process returns and related customer service transactions as needed.
- Support multiple product lines and services with a strong understanding of aerospace requirements.
- Monitor inbound customer communications and distribute requests to appropriate CSS or Account Managers.
- Attend Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meetings and communicate relevant updates to sales teams and customers.
- Monitor order backlog to identify potential concerns or delivery delays.
- Escalate backlog risks and participate in discussions during SIOP meetings to support proactive resolution.
- Interact and collaborate as needed on customer issues with sales, operations and supply chain teams.
- Previous customer service or sales support experience, preferably within manufacturing, service-related or technical environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, order entry, and quoting tools.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience supporting aerospace platforms (rotary wing, fixed wing, or MRO/service).
- Familiarity with SIOP processes, backlog management, and demand planning.
- Experience in handling RMAs and post-sale customer support.
