Metro Property Management is seeking a highly organized Data Entry Coordinator to oversee and manage data entry activities that support property management operations. The Data Entry Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that tenant records, lease agreements, vendor information, maintenance documentation, and financial records are accurately entered and maintained within the company’s internal systems.
This role serves as a central point of coordination between administrative staff, property managers, and accounting personnel to ensure that all property-related data is organized, accurate, and easily accessible for operational and reporting purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee data entry tasks related to tenant records, property information, vendor files, and lease documentation.
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate data in property management systems and internal databases.
- Review documents and records for completeness and accuracy prior to data entry.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for property documents, contracts, and association records.
- Work with property managers to update maintenance requests, work orders, and service documentation.
- Assist the accounting department with entering rent payments, invoices, and financial transaction records.
- Monitor data quality and perform routine audits to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Generate reports and data summaries for management and operational planning.
- Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure timely updates to property and tenant records.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling tenant, vendor, and financial information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, data management, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in data entry, data coordination, administrative support, or office operations.
- Strong typing skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in property management, real estate administration, or HOA management.
- Familiarity with property management or accounting software systems.
- Experience working with financial records, invoices, and operational reporting.
