Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Glastonbury to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their on‑site pre‑school provision on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to become part of a supportive school environment that prioritises child development, wellbeing and high‑quality early education.

• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework within the pre‑school setting
• Planning and engaging children in age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development
• Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
• Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals

• Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Has previous experience working in a nursery or pre‑school setting
• Demonstrates a caring, enthusiastic and child centred approach
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Is confident supporting children with varied needs and abilities
• Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service

• Permanent position within a primary school pre‑school
• Competitive hourly rate: £14.66 – £16.00 per hour
