Prospero Teaching are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Glastonbury to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their on‑site pre‑school provision on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to become part of a supportive school environment that prioritises child development, wellbeing and high‑quality early education.

The Role:

Supporting the delivery of the EYFS framework within the pre‑school setting
Planning and engaging children in age‑appropriate activities that promote learning and development
Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
Observing, assessing and recording children's progress
Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development
Working collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate :

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
Has previous experience working in a nursery or pre‑school setting
Demonstrates a caring, enthusiastic and child‑centred approach
Has a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Is confident supporting children with varied needs and abilities
Holds (or is willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS on the update service
