You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support teams with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity, open doors, damaged fencing, and other concerns.
  • Control access at gates and interior checkpoints by verifying identification, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting visitor and vehicle movement per location requirements.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate observations and status updates to supervision and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
