Location: Glassboro, NJ (100% onsite)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
OverviewOur client is seeking a hands‑on, techno functional Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance their core business applications, with a primary focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its integrated platforms. This is a newly created, high‑impact role designed to strengthen ERP ownership, improve cross‑functional workflows, and ensure data integrity across Finance, Operations, Sales, Inventory, and Logistics.
Our client recently completed a migration from legacy ERP systems to Business Central. While the transition is live, several business processes require stabilization and refinement. This role is ideal for a strong root‑cause problem solver who can independently investigate issues, identify breakdowns, and implement sustainable solutions—not simply elevate tickets.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary support contact for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Troubleshoot ERP and integration issues across connected systems (e.g., finance automation, EDI, transportation/logistics platforms)
- Perform deep root‑cause analysis to resolve system, workflow, and data integrity issues
- Partner with cross‑functional departments to evaluate and optimize business processes
- Support and monitor system integrations, APIs, and data flows between platforms
Liaise with ERP vendors and third‑party providers; open, manage, and elevate tickets as needed - Develop documentation, job aids, and training materials to improve user adoption
- Participate in daily check‑ins and scrum meetings to review priorities and issue status
- Operate independently while escalating appropriately when necessary
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support or Business Systems Analyst role supporting an ERP system
- Demonstrated strength in analytical thinking and root‑cause problem solving
- Working knowledge of cloud‑based SaaS environments, integrations, APIs, and data workflows
- Strong functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred
- Experience with comparable enterprise ERP systems such as Navision (NAV), SAP, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or similar platforms will be considered
- High attention to detail, particularly around data accuracy and system integrity
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- 100% onsite
- Occasional flexibility may be available, but this role requires consistent onsite presence to observe production processes and collaborate directly with business teams
- Works alongside a small internal team and external ERP vendor partners
This is a long‑term role with strong growth potential. The immediate focus is stabilizing post‑migration ERP challenges. Once systems are optimized, the position will evolve into ongoing system ownership, user support, documentation, and continuous process improvement. The objective is to establish a strong internal ERP function and enable leadership to focus on broader technology initiatives.
