This is a permanent, full time role and is based at Glasgow Airport.

• Respond to emergency situations in line with established regulations and procedures to protect life and property.
• Mobilise resources effectively when attending emergency incidents.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support a coordinated and professional emergency response, representing Glasgow Airport Fire Service positively.
• Maintain all competencies required by both the regulator and the company to support airport certification standards.
• Ensure all operational equipment is maintained to the required standard and is fully compliant with internal and external audit requirements.
• Promote and uphold safe working practices, prioritising the safety of colleagues, customers, and the public, and placing health, safety, and environmental responsibility at the core of all activities.
• Ensure personal and team compliance with company Health & Safety policies to minimise risks.
• Comply with all legal and statutory obligations relevant to the role.
• Support the implementation of company systems and procedures, including those delivered under Enterprise.
• Participate in projects, working groups, and undertake additional duties beyond the standard remit for personal development or as reasonably required by the Company.

• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to meet and maintain UK Regulation (EU) 139/2014 and Company medical and physical fitness standards.
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation and influence key stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure.

• Certified First Aider / FPOS qualification.
• LGV driving licence.
• Experience in airport operations or similar high risk environments.
