As a Yard Operative with driving flexibility, you’ll play a key role in the safe and efficient running of our Glasgow site. The main focus of this role is on chemical filling, blending, and general yard operations. You’ll also provide driving support when required, covering small-van deliveries across Scotland during holidays or peaks.

• Safely handle, fill, blend, and store chemical products in compliance with company procedures and legislation.
• Pick and check vehicle loads to match customer orders.
• Load and unload vehicles and IDN trailers, ensuring safe handling and dispatch.
• Carry out manual handling yard duties and chemical filling as required.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and contribute to a safe, efficient yard.
• Support small-van deliveries across Scotland when needed (occasional nights out may apply).
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, and training activities.

• Experience working in a yard or warehouse environment (chemical handling desirable).
• Forklift licence and sound manual-handling awareness.
• LGV Class 3 licence (essential for driving flexibility).
• ADR qualification desirable but not essential; training can be provided.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to safe working practices.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
