Java Developer – 12-Month Contract – Tier 1 Banking – Glasgow - Onsite 5 days

• Java 17 (using Spring technology stack
  )
• Strong understanding of micro-service design patterns
• Proficiency in database SQL and data modelling
• Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency with developmental toolsets
• Experience in middleware application development
• Hands‑on knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience in monitoring/managing production applications (e.g.,
  Prometheus
  , Dynatrace
  )
• Exposure to file transfer protocols
• Knowledge of industry‑wide technology trends and best practices
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Understanding of the Full SDLC such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Exposure to cloud‑native development
