We’re hiring React-focused engineers for a fintech operating in the trading space. You’ll create internal applications that help teams make real‑time decisions on trading strategies, risk, and market opportunities. These tools are critical to how the business moves, and you’ll see the impact of your work every day.

What you’ll do

• Build and evolve internal web applications with React and Type Script.
• Contribute to back-end components (Java preferred).
• Work closely with trading teams to turn complex needs into simple, effective tools.
• Improve reliability, performance, and test coverage for critical internal systems.
• Occasionally touch Dev Ops or data, supported by specialists.

At Senior level, you will also

• Lead delivery of key features end-to-end.
• Shape technical approaches and mentor others.
• Raise the quality bar through reviews and design discussions.

Tech you’ll use

• Front‑end: React, NextJS, Type Script, modern state management and testing.
• Back‑end: Small services and integrations, preferably Java.

You’ll thrive here if you

• Are strongest in React, with some back‑end experience.
• Enjoy solving complex problems and making things simple for users.
• Care about clean, maintainable code and measurable impact.
• Communicate well and collaborate with technical and non‑technical colleagues.

Package

• Base salary: £50,000 to £90,000 depending on level. We have two openings – one mid‑level, one senior level.

Applicants must be local enough to work in the Glasgow office multiple times per week.

Seniority level
