Overview

Welfare Rights Assistant - Glasgow (4-month contract, £35k) Our housing association client in Glasgow is seeking a Welfare Rights Assistant on a 4-month contract (with potential extension) to join their team ASAP
.

You'll provide expert welfare rights advice and support to tenants, helping them navigate benefits and entitlements within a supportive housing environment. You will also:

• Assist tenants with completing benefit applications and appeals
• Provide guidance on debt management and financial inclusion
• Work closely with housing officers to identify and support tenants in need
• Deliver workshops or one-to-one sessions on welfare rights where required

• Experience in welfare rights or related advisory roles
• Strong knowledge of Scottish benefits systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Location: Glasgow
