** Based at our head office in Merchant City, this role combines office-based work with travel to our venues and external events. Hybrid working is available, allowing you to balance time in the office and at home.
** What you’ll do
** As a Volunteering Officer you’ll be a part of the established Volunteering Team, reporting to the Volunteering and Citizenship Manager. You’ll play an essential role in supporting all aspects of volunteer programme delivery, ensuring that our programmes are inclusive and inspiring for volunteers. Your work will make a visible and lasting difference. This could be:
* Supporting our communities
* Helping people get active
* Creating cultural experiences
* Or working behind the scenes to make it all happen

** We’re looking for someone with the right skills who brings energy to the role. If the following sounds like you, apply today!

We’re looking for:
* Experience of supervising person centred activities or services involving volunteers, including volunteer engagement, guidance or programme delivery.
* Experience of delivering training sessions, workshops or programmes.
* Demonstrable ability to supervise and motivate people.
* Ability to manage the day-to-day delivery of high-quality person-centred services.
* Understanding of volunteering principles and best practice.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact effectively with volunteers, colleagues and stakeholders.
* Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organisational skills, including planning, scheduling and maintaining accurate records.
* Competent IT skills and experience in data collection and information management.
