Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Covering of roofs with slates, tiles or sheeting
- Installing new roofs, replacing damaged parts and sealing joints, installing insulation, vapor barriers, skylights and lead flashing
- Inspection of roofs for damages, leaks and identifying repairs
- Measuring roofs, calculating, cutting and installing materials
- Follow strict health and safety regulations, including using scaffolding, fall arrest system and protective equipment
- Cleaning moss and twigs from roofs
- Safety - Good knowledge of safety regulations and working from height
