Timber frame erector

This is a full-time on-site role for a Timber Frame Erector. The Timber Frame Erector will be responsible for assembling and installing timber frames on construction sites. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, preparing and organizing tools and materials, constructing and positioning timber frames, and ensuring the safe handling and use of equipment. The role also involves adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with team members to ensure project efficiency and accuracy.

• Experience in construction, timber frame erection, and interpreting blueprints and technical plans
• Proficiency in the use of tools and equipment related to timber work
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Physically fit and comfortable working in various weather conditions
• A valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
• Previous experience with general carpentry or joinery is an advantage
• Driving license and access to transportation is a bonus
