Up to £41,000 DOE

HVAC Engineer required in the Glasgow area for a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding for over 20 years. They provide their customers with a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of HVAC equipment. The client base includes long‑standing relationships with companies such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison and more.

• Basic Salary up to £41,000 DOE
• Company van with optional personal use
• Profit share scheme (up to £3,600 tax‑free after 12 months of service)
• Overtime paid at 1.5×
• 40‑hour working week; travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On‑call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – travel paid door‑to‑door)

• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays (increases to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years)
• Company uniform, phone and PDA provided

• Apprenticeship in the air conditioning industry (Not essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F‑Gas) certification
• Full driving licence
• Experience with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment
• Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba
• Service Checker experience
• Live within a commutable distance of Glasgow
• Willingness to stay overnight occasionally in other areas of Scotland and to work occasional night shifts
