What You'll Do

Installation of a variety of types of cables (multi-core, single core and coaxial) & electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.)
Cable termination and installation of all electrical equipment
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Collaborate with shipbuilding teams to ensure the timely and efficient completion of electrical installations
Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

What You'll Bring

Modern Apprenticeship - SVQ 3 or equivalent
Relevant experience in a marine installation or major industrial installation environment
Understanding all assessments, Risk, PUWER & COSHH
Understanding of relevant trade drawings
Knowledge of tag out process and the correct proving dead procedure
Mounting of electrical equipment & components
Earthing of equipment and termination of cables to skill standards
