MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in the Glasgow & surrounding areas. Their client base includes commercial office blocks, industrial units, retail, and student accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in a similar Electrical / HVAC / Maintenance Engineer role.

• Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Diagnose faults, repair, replace and upgrade lighting, wiring and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.
• Conduct electrical testing, rewires and emergency lighting maintenance.
• Handle basic mechanical PPMs.
• Maintain fire alarms, security systems and automated controls.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.

• Approved Electrical Apprenticeship – minimum requirement.
• 18th Edition Accreditation – essential.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection – beneficial.

• Up to £40k – £43,000
• Call out rota & allowance
