MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

JOB OVERVIEW

Our client are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out mobile maintenance works in the Glasgow & surrounding areas.

Their client base include but are not limited to Commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical/ HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

* Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical systems

* Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.

* Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.

* Handle basic Mechanical Ppms

* Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.

* Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Approved Electrical Apprenticeship – Minimum requirement.

18th Edition Accreditation – Essential.

2391 Testing & Inspection – Beneficial.

SALARY & BENEFITS

* Up to £40k - £43,000

* Call out Rota & allowance

* Overtime x 1.5 and x 2 on weekends
