The company is a leading generator specialist focused on servicing and maintaining customer‑owned standby generators. This Generator Engineer role is an excellent opportunity for someone to transition from the rental industry to standby power. Covering planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and major repairs with extensive training provided by the company.

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

• Overtime: paid at 1.5x and 2x pay
• Holidays: 25 days + banks

  Company phone and laptop; specialist tools and uniform provided

• Development:
  Ongoing technical training

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on standby generators.
• Diagnose faults and complete efficient, high‑quality repairs.
• Complete site reports and documentation to a high standard.
• Liaise with customers to deliver excellent service and technical support.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with installations and commissioning where required.
• Participate in the on‑call rota for emergency support.

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining diesel generators (standby or rental sector).
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
