A leading lift engineering company is looking for an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join their team, covering sites across the Central Belt. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer looking for stability, strong earning potential, and the chance to work with a highly respected and growing organisation.

The Role

As a Lift Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, breakdowns and minor repairs of a wide range of lift equipment across commercial, industrial and residential sites. You’ll manage your own patch, respond to callouts as required, and ensure lifts remain safe, reliable and fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and minor repairs on traction and hydraulic lifts

* Attend lift breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete efficient repairs

* Ensure all lift equipment meets safety standards and operates reliably

* Complete necessary documentation, job sheets and compliance records

* Support customers professionally, providing updates and recommendations

* Work independently across a regional patch within the Central Belt

* Liaise with the engineering team, supervisors and office staff when required

What We’re Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineering (or equivalent) – essential

* Experience working on both traction and hydraulic lift systems

* Strong fault-finding skills (electrical and mechanical)

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Excellent customer service and communication skills

* Flexible and safety-conscious approach to work

* Full UK driving licence
