As we continue to grow, we are now seeking to strengthen our Wind Turbine Inspections team with a Business Development Manager to support our UK and wider European markets.

The Role

This role is focused on generating new business and securing inspection and retrofit campaigns within the wind sector, while also supporting opportunities across other renewable technologies.

You will identify and convert high-potential prospects, build strong relationships with asset owners and operators, and position Natural Power’s inspection expertise as a trusted, long-term solution. While the UK will be the primary focus, you will also support growth across Ireland and Northern Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy in collaboration with inspection team leads and senior management
  • Drive commercial development of inspection and retrofit services across construction and operational phases
  • Identify new market opportunities and competitive advantages
Business Development
  • Prospect for new clients and generate qualified leads
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with asset owners and operators
  • Understand client requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions
  • Coordinate tenders, prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms
  • Manage pipeline reporting and commercial activity tracking
Market & Brand Development
  • Collaborate with marketing to promote inspection expertise
  • Represent Natural Power at industry events, conferences and trade shows
  • Stay informed on sector trends, regulation and emerging opportunities
About You
  • Qualification in a relevant technical or business discipline
  • Experience in onshore or offshore wind, or similar rotating plant environments
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy services
  • Experience in technical sales or commercial roles
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Degree in a technical or business‑related discipline
  • Experience across wider renewable technologies (solar, BESS, renewable heat)
  • Experience working in a high‑paced technical sales environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and Microsoft Copilot
