Job

The successful candidate will join a small sales team & work closely with the Head of Sales in Glasgow. This role will include sales training & mentoring so this will be most appropriate for a more inexperienced candidate who wants to grow, learn & has high ambitions.

The role is looking for an Account Executive who will act as a Hunter to focus on outbound sales; working across the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation through to lead qualification, product demos, to commercial negotiations & close (in this you would be supported by other AEs or Head of Sales).

You will need some experience as a salesperson, ideally experience selling software, IT solutions, or another technology product. Candidates from a recruitment background may also be considered if they can point to a very successful new business development track record.

The Person & Skillset
  • Some software or IT sales experience is vital. Particularly within B2B environment selling into enterprise clients. The amount of experience is less important, it could be a few months or a few years.
  • Huge bonus if you understand recruitment or HR industry
  • Hunger, drive, enthusiasm & being coachable are extremely attractive. Attitude & personality go a long way in sales
  • Strategic thinker who can develop relationships & approach sales prospects with an intelligent hunting mindset.
