About the Role
Business Development Executive – Glasgow
Location: Glasgow (G2 5AH
) | Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
Contract: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Package: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission + incentive-based rewards

What You Will Be DoingYou will develop new and strengthen existing customer relationships, applying the sales techniques gained through our in‑house Sales Academy and ongoing coaching. Your focus will be on achieving and exceeding defined, measurable sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and engage key stakeholders and decision‑makers across both new and existing customer accounts via telephone and email to expand QA’s product footprint.
- Use platforms such as Linked In Sales Navigator to broaden your network and identify new opportunities.
- Input, analyse, and interpret relevant sales management data to prioritise workload and qualify incoming sales opportunities.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes and proposals for customers.
- Utilise data held within Microsoft Dynamics to ensure full and accurate reporting of sales activity.
- Build and maintain a quarterly territory plan to maximise opportunities and drive growth.
- Consistently deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously develop your product knowledge and refine your sales techniques to support ongoing performance improvement.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- B2B sales experience communicating with internal and/or external stakeholders and decision‑makers via email, telephone, and face‑to‑face.
- Experience working to tight deadlines where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
- Experience resolving queries and providing effective solutions.
- Proficiency using IT systems, including CRM platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, from building initial rapport to developing relationships with decision‑makers who hold purchasing authority.
- Understanding of how to grow and retain existing customer accounts.
- Knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting through to closing and purchasing service offerings.
- Clear understanding of what excellent customer service looks like — and the ability to deliver it consistently.
