About the Role

Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at 200 Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ
on a permanent part‑time contract of 24.5 hours (average) per week.

We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to the menu.

As a Cook your duties would involve menu planning, ordering, preparing ingredients and working alongside the catering assistant.

You will help to keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently while ensuring you follow food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures.

• 24.5 hours average per week on a 2‑week rolling rota, 10.30am to 6.30pm (1 hour unpaid break):
  • Week 1 rota – Mon, Tues, Sat and Sun
  • Week 2 rota – Wed, Thurs and Friday
• Competitive hourly rate of £14.04 (from 1st April)

You must be able to move around the kitchen and adept in multi‑tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques will be an advantage.
